*Spends all future A-List vouchers on Mineralize Skinfinish*
It’s time to stock up on Ruby Woo and Velvet Teddy, because ASOS has officially started stocking MAC. This is even more exciting than when they launched their own eponymous make-up line, or their own activewear collection.
As of yesterday, well over 600 of MACs products were added to the site, from the best MAC lipstick shades to Prep + Prime to Mineralize Skinfinish, every shade of eyeshadow under the sun and every make-up tool you could ever ask for.
And with their new(ish) ‘Try Before You Buy‘ feature, what more could you ask for when your beauty arsenal needs a top-up?
Unsurprisingly, many of the newly-added MAC products have already gone out of stock (personally, I was hoping to get a large brush roll, but that ship has sailed).
And in our eyes, the best bit is that we put our ASOS A-List vouchers towards new MAC purchases – and earn points on our buys, too. Yaaaaaaas!
Consider any hopes you had of saving money this payday well and truly gone…
Her first album in four years is reportedly due to drop this autumn – but there will be one big difference from her previous offerings. According to The Sun, she’s been released by her record label Polydor.
A source says: ‘Cheryl is still signed to Universal but is exploring which label she will put music out with.
‘There wasn’t anyone left at Polydor who worked with her in the past so it seemed the right time for a change. She is still contracted to Universal so now it’s a case of figuring out which label is the correct fit for the direction she is going in.
‘The music is at an exciting stage though and everyone is working towards releasing the album this autumn.’
Whichever label Cheryl opts for, we’re sure we’ll end up fully obsessed with her new music. She’s already worked with Naughty Boy and is set to reunite with songwriter Miranda Cooper, who was behind Girls Aloud hits including Sound Of The Underground and Biology.
The source adds: ‘Miranda was vital in making Girls Aloud such a success. She is a master at making out-and-out pop bangers, and that is exactly what Cheryl wants this album filled with.’
We’ve been obsessed with beauty advent calendars for years, but now it seems that makeup is about to take over another one of our favourite holidays.

What’s more, each egg is beautifully illustrated. So once you’ve used up your products, there’s something left to keep.
Boasting five eyeshadow shades – including rose pink, dark rose gold and dark rose brown – and two highlighter powders, this mini egg palette is perfect for those on a budget.

The new Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald trailer dropped just a couple of days ago and it’s safe to say that the internet has a lot of feelings about it. Besides fanning themselves over Jude Law playing young Dumbledore, there’s one massive plot hole that has had keen Potterheads in a frenzy – namely that you can’t apparate onto Hogwarts grounds.
In literally the first ten seconds of the trailer, witches and wizards from the Ministry of Magic apparate onto Hogwarts to interrogate Professor Dumbledore.
Clearly, somebody hasn’t been brushed up on their Potter lore as J.K. Rowling repeatedly reminded us in the books that there was a ban on magically teleporting to the school grounds.
As Hermione (sassily) reminded Harry and Ron, ‘One day, you’ll read Hogwarts, A History, and perhaps that will remind you that you can’t Apparate or Disapparate inside Hogwarts.’
I mean, imagine if people could just apparate willy nilly onto the wizarding campus. Things would have ended very differently if Voldemort could just snap his fingers, appear in the Gryffindor common room and take his biggest rival out early on.
It didn’t take long for people to channel their inner curly haired witch and people kicked off on Twitter about it.
However, after thinking about it for a little while – we doubt that the team behind Fantastic Beasts would make that glaring an error (especially with J.K. consulting). Given that the events of Fantastic Beasts take place way before Harry Potter and the gang made their mark on the wizarding school, it could be that maybe whatever happens in this film is the reason why the ban was introduced in the first place.
Okay Potter fans I know some of you are Mad Online™ but what if events in this movie ARE the reason you can't Apparate onto the Hogwarts grounds HMMM
Other users also pointed out that maybe super high profile witches and wizards would be able to apparate onto the grounds, if they had the right clearance.
ok hear me out: 1. House elves can apparate on Hogwarts grounds 2. Characters in Fantastic Beasts can apparate on Hogwarts grounds 3. ??? 4. Everyone is three house elves standing on each other's shoulders under large cloaks https://t.co/HmBTgYDr6H
Whatever the reason, we’ll unfortunately have to wait till later this year to find out whether Fantastic Beasts is scrapping canon or not. Based off the trailer, it looks set to be a much darker instalment for the Harry Potter series as Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) gets roped back into a battle against Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp), with the help of his former teacher Dumbledore (Jude Law).
While J.K. Rowling revealed that Grindelwald was the love of the Hogwarts headmaster’s life, it’s been revealed that they won’t be touching on their doomed romance or Dumbledore’s sexuality in this film which has divided many. Not to mention that people such as Daniel Radcliffe called out the film for casting Johnny Depp due to the problematic allegations of domestic violence surrounding him, leading J.K. Rowling to stand by the casting in a statement.
The film will be released on November 16 and is the second in a five part series.
'The hardest thing in this world is to live in it [without new Buffy episodes, obvs]...'
The teenager inside me is squealing right now, because news of a possible Buffy The Vampire Slayer return has been sweeping the internet.
Dropping the bombshell during an INTV Conference, Fox TV group chair Gary Newman explained: ‘I think if you look in our library, Buffy is probably the most ripe show we have for bringing back.’
Speaking of creator Joss Whedon, Newman said that he was ‘one of the greatest’ they had ever worked with.
‘When Joss decides it’s time, we’ll do it,’ he added. ‘And until Joss decides it’s time, it won’t happen.’
COME ON JOSS.
A firm ’90s and ’00s favourite, Buffy has a major cult following. And, on a more personal note, it was responsible for my feminist awakening.
All that’s left now is for us to wait for Joss to come up with a genius plot for a new series.
And I hope he does it soon, because my video box sets (yes, really) have worn out, and it’s been removed from Netflix…
But if you’re under 31, the worst may be yet to come. Because according to a new survey by credit check site ClearScore, this is set to be the most pricey year of your life.
Why’s this? Well, it’s down to the types of events that tend to occur around this time – notably weddings and buying a house.
Of the 3,000 people surveyed, 27% said getting married was their biggest expense, followed by buying a house, having a baby and going on honeymoon.
To be able to afford all of these things, ClearScore calculated that people would need to spend around £43,000 in just that year alone.
The survey also revealed that those in London are the biggest serial daters, with 43% confessing to going on more than one date a week.
Dinner is the popular choice nationally, but both Londoners and Mancunians are challenging the dating norms by opting for breakfast meet-ups instead (6%).
It also turns out that we’re a nation of foodies. A restaurant date appeals to almost half (49%) of us – and the other half cite cooking at home as their preferred romantic gesture.
TBH, we’re now starting to think that something a little cheaper could be a better option. A long walk, anyone?
Born on 22nd March, the tot will be celebrating his first birthday next week but there’s one very special person in his life who could be missing his special day.
Writing on Instagram, Liam revealed to fans that he’s going away for work next week, and the date might coincide with Bear’s milestone.
‘This time next week I’ll be on my way to Japan! I’ve got some amazing memories from Japan, can’t wait to be back #TBT,’ he wrote yesterday, alongside a picture of him and his One Direction bandmates.
It’s unclear if Cheryl and Bear will accompany the dad on his trip, but it wouldn’t be the first time Liam misses a milestone of fatherhood. The 24-year-old has admitted to have missed his first Father’s Day last year, because he was working.
Speaking at the time, Liam said: ‘Oh I’m actually away for Father’s Day, I’m working which is really, really sad but it’s my first one obviously so it’s amazing.
‘I feel so blessed and there’s definitely going to be a lot of FaceTime that day I reckon.’
The couple announced they had welcomed baby Bear in March last year, with an adorable post on social media.
Cheryl wrote at the time, alongside a picture of Liam holding Bear: ‘On Wednesday 22nd March Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9 and looking like a dream. Although he still doesn’t have a name he is already stealing hearts. We are all madly in love and overwhelmingly happy with our little arrival. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers around the world. A day that now has a different meaning to me forever .’
HRH did the same for Prince William before he married Kate Middleton back in 2011.
As an heir to the throne (currently fifth in line, and soon to be sixth), Harry is expected, under the Succession to the Crown Act, to get formal permission from the monarch in order to marry.
Of course, his grandmother was more than happy to oblige.
The Queen released a formal letter, addressed to her advisors, giving her ‘consent’ to the marriage. The letter is formal, but the 91-year-old couldn’t help but refer to her grandson (whom she has a very close relationship with) by the most adorable term.
‘I declare My Consent to a Contract of Matrimony between My Most Dearly Beloved Grandson Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales and Rachel Meghan Markle,’ the letter began.
It is said that the pair already have a special relationship, with the former Suits actress becoming the first royal fiancée to bag an invite to celebrate Christmas with the Royal Family at Sandringham.
We cannot wait for Harry and Meghan’s special day.
We know exactly what our plans are for the Easter long weekend and they involve a massive booze run to Aldi.
Besides selling their award-winning (and super affordable!) rosé wine and gin, they’ve now made spring cocktails so much better with their take on Aperol – the Aperini Italian Aperitif.
There’s nothing more refreshing than an Aperol spritz and we know you’ve seen the vibrant orange cocktail gaining speed on Instagram.
Now, you’ll be able to fix one up yourself for a fraction of the cost and join the fashion pack. Aldi’s take on the citrus liqueur which will cost you just £6.99; less than half the price of standard Aperol.
Plus, it’s hitting shelves just in time for Easter weekend on March 20th, so grab your shopping bags and stock up.
Julie Ashfield, Aldi’s Joint Managing Director of Corporate Buying, said: ‘With customers planning Easter weekend get-togethers, we were keen to extend our spirits offering by introducing a perfect alternative for creating the popular spritz drink.
‘It’s equally delicious served over ice with a fresh fruit garnish and a sprig of mint.’
Need a crash course on whipping up your own Aperol – well, Aperini – spritz? Check out our guide below.
1. Grab the biggest wine glass you can find and fill it with ice. 2. Fill it with equal parts of Aldi’s Aperini Italian Aperitif and prosecco. 3. Add a splash of soda water and jazz it up with an orange slice. 4. This is the easy part: drink.
Married At First Sight may have left our screens, but that doesn’t mean that we’ve stopped wondering what happened to the couples after the show.
Fan-favourites Ben and Stephanie seemed to be a very promising match when they first met on the Channel 4 programme. They both claimed to feel immediate chemistry, something that appeared to develop even further during the course of their honeymoon.
But when they came back to the UK, and moved into their first home together, things seemed to get a little more difficult.
After a rocky few weeks, much to the relief of viewers, Ben and Stephanie decided to stay married. And, in the final episode, the pair seemed to be going from strength-to-strength – even uttering the ‘L’ word.
We now know it didn’t last.
Opening up to FuBar Radio, Ben revealed: ‘Stephanie and I are still friends but I couldn’t give her what she wanted and what she needed, and time is of the essence.
‘And why waste someone’s time if it’s not there?’
He continued: ‘It killed me. After the end of the show we were giving it a go, but as my mum said, you don’t know someone until you’ve lived with them.’
The pair are now said to be seeking a divorce.
‘It broke my heart to do what I had to do,’ Ben said. ‘I couldn’t give someone so lovely and so nice what she wanted. She was gutted to be totally honest and she still wanted to try, but it ain’t there, kiddo.’
‘I was thinking, ‘How can you love me?’ You can’t play with affairs of the heart can you.’
It must be pretty hard for Prince William to fly under the radar, considering he’s the future King.
But that’s exactly what he wanted to do when he headed to the University Of St Andrews in the early 00s. Because while he officially enrolled as William Wales, his classmates referred to him as something totally different.
This was to ensure no gossip got out when his pals talked about him in public.
So what name did he go for? Well, he actually opted for something pretty normal… Steve.
As you probably know, Wills met his future wife Kate Middleton while studying in Scotland, so there’s a good chance she spoke about ‘Steve’ to her friends on campus.
William, now 35, and 36-year-old Kate studied art history together. They became close while sharing a flat, and their relationship continued to blossom after William switched to a geography course.
Prince William and Kate Middleton met at university
Wills left with a 2:1 in 2005, and The Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall all attended his graduation ceremony.
At the time, he told the Daily Telegraph: ‘Today is a very special day for me and I am delighted that I can share it with my family, and in particular with my grandmother, who has made such an effort to come, having been under the weather.
‘I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at St Andrews and I shall be very sad to leave.’
We know it’s fairly normal for monarchs to change their names when they take to the throne – the Queen’s father Albert became George VI – so maybe Wills’ old name could someday make a comeback.
We’re not gonna lie, we’re really feeling HRH Steve.
Victoria Beckham ruled herself out of the highly-anticipated (and rumoured) Spice Girls tour earlier this month, with the 43-year-old confirming, ‘I’m not going on tour. The girls aren’t going on tour.’
While rumours were buzzing around as to why a Spice Girls tour wouldn’t be happening – at least with all five OG women – most people suspected that VB might be invested in another project – you know, aside from her mega fashion brand, charity work and being the mother of four.
Sure enough, Victoria confirmed the news on International Women’s Day, announcing in a live conversation with Nicola Mendelsohn (VP EMEA, Facebook) that she would be launching her own skincare range.
‘I am currently in the process of creating my own colour, my own line of skincare creams, and a perfume,’ VB announced – streamed live from her Dover Street store. ‘As a woman, I want to make the things I need in my life, the things that are missing.’
To VB fans this move is far from unexpected, with Victoria collaborating with Estée Lauder to create a 14-piece product collection for the past two years – going on to completely sell out.
We are still dreaming about her iconic (and again sold-out) illuminating cream, Morning Aura.
We don’t know yet whether her skincare range will be another collab with Estée Lauder, but according to VB, the products are set to be ‘very scientific’, as she told fans that she’s ‘learning a lot’ in their creation.
If there’s anyone we’d trust with our skin, it’s VB.
The Love Island pair's rocky relationship has played out on their ITVBe show...
Olivia Attwood and Chris Hughes were certainly one of the most talked-about couples from last year’s series of Love Island, so we weren’t all that surprised when ITV announced that they would be getting their very own spin-off, Crackin’ On.
Of course, if you’ve been following the pair, you’ll already know that they parted ways before their show started airing. And, with each episode, fans are starting to see why.
After a particularly difficult row was shown in the last instalment of the show, Olivia, 26, has now revealed how difficult it has been to watch the breakdown of her relationship on TV.
‘Do you know what, the show airing has been such a bittersweet experience for me and I’m so glad that we didn’t do any more because I don’t think I’d be able to live through it,’ she wrote in her latest column for New! magazine.
Opening up about the last episode, which saw a very heated argument breakout on the way to the airport, Olivia explained: ‘I found the scenes in the car really hard to watch because I could see in my face that I looked really ill and drained from the whole situation.
‘I looked totally defeated and I got a lot of my friends and family texting to say they were crying watching it.’
Branding the reality show a ‘brutal trip down memory lane’, Olivia says that she’s happy filming was cut down to three episodes.
Viewers have been speculating about whether Olivia and Chris will eventually give things another go, especially as Chris, 25, has appeared on daytime TV to declare that they are ‘still obsessed with each other.’
There has also been a lot of confusion surrounding some photos that have been posted to Instagram, showing them posing together for a day out at the races.
Chris and Olivia: Cracking’ On returns on Wednesday at 10pm.
The reality star's fiancée Vogue Williams is expecting
He may have been known as Made In Chelsea‘s resident lothario, but Spencer Matthews is now taking on a whole new role.
The 29-year-old announced over the weekend that he and fiancée Vogue Williams are expecting their first child together, just over a month after getting engaged.
He wrote on Instagram: ‘So… I’m going to be a father! Couldn’t be happier to be sharing these times with the love of my life @voguewilliams . We feel truly blessed ❤️.’
On her page, Vogue, 32, said: ‘I couldn’t be more delighted to announce that we are expecting our first baby! Being with you @spencermatthews is the best thing that has ever happened to me, you are the dream ❤️❤️.’
The couple opened up about the pregnancy in Hello!, with Spencer revealing that they’d been trying for a baby for a little while.
Vogue said: ‘We were together when we did the test, on holiday in the South of France over Christmas, and we were just like: “Wow”. Regardless of how long you plan it for or how long you’ve wanted it, it’s still like: “Oh my God!” It’s such exciting news.’
Spencer added: ‘So I just considered myself the luckiest man in the world when we got the baby news. We were heading down that matrimonial road anyway, so now we feel doubly blessed.’
Spenny’s old MIC co-stars have also been reacting to the news, with both Millie Mackintosh and Binky Felstead – who welcomed her daughter India last year – sending their congratulations.
Millie, 28, commented: ‘So happy for you both ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,’ while 27-year-old Binky said: ‘❤️❤️❤️ India can’t wait to meet her playmate puglet xxx.’
Their second child, a boy named Luke Richard, was born on March 10. ‘On 10th March 2018 to Hannah (Bagshawe) and Edward, a son, Luke Richard Bagshawe, brother to Iris,’ the announcement read, according to PEOPLE.
The couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Iris Mary, in June 2016. News of their second pregnancy didn’t break until 1 November, when they confirmed that they were expecting in a joint statement.
‘Eddie and Hannah Redmayne are delighted to confirm they are expecting their second child,’ they wrote.
Eddie has previously spoken out about the joys of fatherhood. ‘Before you’re a parent, you sort of hear people talking about [not getting any sleep] and suddenly you’re the guy who’s like floating in a sort of constant jet lag with a constant IV of caffeine. So yes, I’ve become that person. It’s worth every minute,’ he told Ellen DeGeneres.
‘It’s that amazing thing when it’s three o’clock in the morning and you go in and you’re sort of gently furious and then you get a little smile and your heart breaks a bit, and it’s totally worth it.’
'She never comes across as having an ounce of sex appeal and, at times, looks like she could be 16...'
We don’t know about you, but we’d been counting down the days until we could hit the cinema to see the new Tomb Raider film.
With Alicia Vikander taking the reins from Angelina Jolie – who portrayed Lara Croft in the original adaptation back in 2001 – there was always going to be a huge buzz surrounding this reboot.
From the very first trailer, the scene was set; a kickass female lead, but with zero hint of those close-up boob shots or the usual sexual undertones. Echoing 2017’s Wonder Woman, it was refreshing to see – and with the DC film smashing box office records last year, we already know the appetite is there.
One film critic appears to have taken issue with this – and, go figure, he’s male.
The Tomb Raider review, which was published on PhillyVoice.com, seemed to draw comparisons between Vikander and Jolie’s body types. Because, apparently, this has everything to do with the plot.
‘Vikander’s appearance is also markedly different than Jolie’s,’ the writer, Jerome Maida, said. ‘She never comes across as having an ounce of sex appeal and, at times, looks like she could be 16. Toss in the lack of curves and Warner Brothers could have decided to gender bend and make a film titled “Luke Croft” – and it would have come across the same way.’
He then added: ‘Such interchangeability is not exactly empowering for women.’
The notion that a woman’s sexuality is somehow intrinsically linked to their sense of empowerment is hugely problematic. Of course it should go without saying that a woman can be sexual and still be taken seriously, but a lack of overt sexualisation shouldn’t detract from that either.
It didn’t take long for this article to go viral, with many taking to social media to call out the sexist undertones of the review.
Hi this review is a sexist piece of shit and you should be ashamed of running it
‘This week in “Male Film Critics Who Should Shut Up”!,’ one user tweeted, along with a screenshot of the paragraph.
‘…men who went to see tomb raider for the tits and arse can go home, this film is for intellectual people with upstairs brains. I can understand why modern day feminism is needed,’ another tweet read.
It seems that this backlash has lead to the published piece being changed. The problematic paragraph is now missing and, instead, an Editor’s Note reads: ‘This review previously made references to Vikander’s appearance in comparison to Angelina Jolie. After consideration, we have removed that mention.’
If you’re looking for a dose of strong female empowerment, Tomb Raider is in cinemas right now.
When it comes to naming our sons and daughters, vintage monikers have been the biggest trend over the past few years.
But it seems we could soon be seeing a resurgence of more modern names.
In case you haven’t noticed, the 90s are quite a big deal RN. Friends is on Netflix, mom jeans and chokers are back in our wardrobes and the Spice Girls have reunited.

Do any take your fancy? Let us know on Twitter @lookmagazine.
The reality star is no stranger to hate – in fact, she penned a post for her very own website about the topic just last week – and it seems to have happened again.
This time, it’s her new range of concealers that are in the firing line.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has really been cementing her place in the world of beauty. Kim has starred in numerous YouTube makeup tutorials, with some of the most high profile influencers, and she has launched her very own makeup brand, KKW Beauty.
Debuting her latest offering on Instagram, Kim showed off her range of concealers in a series of Instagram photos. She even enlisted the help of momager Kris Jenner and grandma MJ for a campaign shoot.
But fans were quick to start calling out the mum-of-three, and for varied reasons.
First thing’s first; a lot of people couldn’t help but draw comparisons between Kim’s new launch and her little sister Kylie’s beauty empire.
‘I wonder if it’s upsetting to @KylieJenner that her big sis @KimKardashian steals her make up ideas Kylie came out with concealers & now Kim is coming out with them too [sic],’ one fan wrote on Twitter.
‘So KKW beauty is coming out with a line of concealers despite Kylie already having a line?,’ another added.
Then, following the release of Kim’s swatches, many others have called out the line for its ‘limited shade’ range.
Reactions included: ‘this makeup line is only for light skin tones just like almost every other makeup line’, ‘anyone going to bring up the fact that the KKW concealer shade range is straight up disrespectful to WOC?’ and ‘where the dark shades at though?’
According to multiple news sources, model Mouna Fadiga – who took part in the KKW Beauty concealers campaign – responded to critics.
‘I can tell you that they did not choose me only to pretend; I had the makeup on and It fits perfectly my skin colour,’ she reportedly said on Instagram.
‘I even kept it on me and went to have dinner with a friend,’ she later added.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stepped out to celebrate St Patrick’s Day at the weekend, in one of the Duchess’s final engagements before she’s due to give birth.
The royal couple visited the 1st Battalion of the Irish Guards in London, of which William is Colonel, on Saturday. And as ever, Catherine made sure she was dressed appropriately for the occasion.
She chose to wear a green Catherine Walker coat with a fur collar and matching cuffs, something she recycled from her recent royal tour in Sweden.
To accessorise, the Duchess chose a simple pair of black heels and a Gina Foster hat, which she previously wore for St Patrick’s Day in 2014.
However, it was perhaps the smallest of all her accessories that were perhaps the most significant – the stunning drop earrings she wore to complement the outfit.
The £3,500 tourmaline, diamond and amethyst earrings are not only beautiful but also have a lot of meaning attached to them, as they were reportedly made to celebrate the birth of Princess Charlotte in 2015.
They were designed by luxury jeweller Kiki McDonough, but it is not known who gave them to Kate.
Kate Middleton’s earrings had a special significance
During their visit, Catherine and William greeted 350 soldiers as well as their official mascot, Domhnall the Irish Wolfhound.
Due to the difficult weather, Domhnall’s handler Aidan Cathcart was concerned he might not behave, saying: ‘He is the first guy on the parade. He’s the main guy.’
However, all seemed to go to plan and Catherine sweetly fastened a shamrock to the mascot, who she has become quite familiar with over the years of attending the parade.
The couple managed to escape the cold weather by attending the Guardsman’s Lunch, where the Duke of Cambridge happily sipped on a pint of Guinness, but heavily pregnant Catherine stuck to water.
This will be one of the very last public appearances from the Duchess, as she is due to give birth to her third child in a matter of weeks.
Ahead of the birth, the Royal Family has created a new webpage dedicated to the baby, which will provide updates on the birth ‘as they become available’.
