It’s safe to say that Adele wowed us ALL at the Grammys last month.
The 28-year-old singer was the perfect polished princess in an emerald green Givenchy gown, which featured intricate diamond panelling, long sleeves and a full pleated skirt.
When it came to her beauty look, she was rocking a tousled up-do, nude lips and her trademark cat eye. Just beaut.

Adele was just as regal when it came to the actual awards. Because the mum-of-one reigned supreme, walking away with five gongs under her belt.
These included the coveted Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year trophies.

Impressive, right? But proving that she’s the same old Adele we’ve always known and loved, she kept everything very down to earth in her acceptance speeches.
She even protested against her Album Of The Year title, insisting that Beyoncé deserved it instead. Aw.

So after all that, we were shocked and disgusted to hear that Adele had been targeted by cruel trolls.
She spoke out about the criticism as she performed in Perth over the weekend, telling the crowd: ‘I don’t f***ing care. It was Givenchy Couture. They can say what they want.
‘Before the Grammys I had this dress right, I wore this green dress, everyone said I looked like Fiona from Shrek. They did.

‘I worked out. Obviously I’m a large lady and I like eating food very much, but I was working out twice a day to fit into that Givenchy dress because it was quite tight.’
*HUGE SIGH*. Personally, we don’t think someone as talented and intelligent Adele should ever have had to issue a statement about how she looked in a dress.
But we’ve gotta say, she did it with total sass. You keep on slaying, lady.
