If there’s one thing we love, it’s discovering what a throwback star is up to these days.
We’ve already taken a walk down memory lane with some of our favourite past The Only Way Is Essex stars, but now the internet is talking about Charlie Sims.
The 25-year-old walked away from his time on the ITV reality show following his split with girlfriend Ferne McCann. Yup, if you’re a seasoned TOWIE fan, you’ll probably still remember that shopping centre scene with the pandas.

At the time, Charlie announced that he was departing from the show on Twitter, telling his fans: ‘To the @OnlyWayIsEssex …. I won’t be taking part anymore. It’s time to grow up and move on. I wish everyone the best on the show!’
Following his departure, a representative for the reality show released a statement which said: ‘We haven’t been able to film with Charlie for several days because he hasn’t felt comfortable sharing his real life on camera and that is an essential part of being in TOWIE.’
These days, Charlie has taken a very different route with his career, walking away from television to pursue a career as a sports agent.
Charlie has updated his social media accounts to include his full name, Charles Anthony Sims. He also heavily promotes his work in the boxing industry, having become a representative for professional boxers for the agency Wasserman.

#TeamWassAccording to reports, his father is a successful trainer and known in the industry.
Although Charlie has put his TOWIE days firmly behind him, he still has ties to the Essex crew as his sister, Chloe Sims, still stars in the ITVBe show.
