As Little Mix's Jesy Nelson and TOWIE's Chris Clark go official with their romance, Courtney Green shares exactly how they got together

At the start of 2017, the last thing we anticipated was a TOWIE/Little Mix romance.

But it’s happened. Jesy Nelson is now dating Essex fella Chris Clark – proving exactly why you should never say never.

And, how cute are they?!

So how exactly did they end up together? Well, Chris’s TOWIE co-star Courtney Green has revealed all.

She tells new!: ‘I’m the biggest Little Mix fan. I went backstage when they were performing at V Festival and I was hyperventilating.

‘I think they met on Instagram… I’m like: “You go, boy!” I personally think it’s such an achievement.’

Unsurprisingly, Courtney – who’s loved-up with TOWIE newbie and Chris’s best mate Myles Barnett – is hoping for a double date invite.

She continues: ‘I hope [we’ll double date]! I actually know Jesy’s brother Johnny because they are from Essex.’

Speaking of Chris’s former relationship, Courtney adds: ‘Chris was really heartbroken over Amber [Dowding]. He’s always said to me and Myles that he’s a relationship boy and he likes being in a girl’s company.’

Chris and Jesy – who are currently in a long-distance while Little Mix tour the US – appear to be going from strength to strength, with Chris recently flying out to the States to see his girl.

He shared a sweet Instagram at the end of his visit, with the caption: ‘All good things must come to an end. See you soon babe @jesynelson.’

We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to see what the rest of 2017 will bring for Jesy and Chris! A Little Mix appearance on TOWIE? We can definitely get behind that one…
