Yup. The on-screen fallout has continued off-screen...
The awkwardness between Megan McKenna and her former best friend Chloe Meadows is nothing new, but it did bubble to the surface once again during the final episodes of The Only Way Is Essex‘s most recent series.
Following THAT showdown during the final episode – which just so happened to double-up as a birthday party – their row is showing very little sign of stopping now that filming has been paused.

Megan, who certainly isn’t one to shy away from sharing what’s on her mind, has spoken out about the long-standing feud. And, whilst throwing some shade in the direction of her former BFF, she’s given a side to the story that we didn’t see on the ITVBe show.
Viewers watched as Megan extended an olive branch and included her on the guest list for her restaurant opening, but Chloe – deciding that her presence might lead to more drama – opted to stay in with their mutual friend Courtney Green.
Later on at the pool party, Chloe was seen trying to make amends with Megan, but it didn’t really go according to plan.
Now, the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant has revealed to The Sun that she believes Chloe had an ulterior motive. Megan said: ‘I don’t know why she [Chloe] even bothered with wanting to be my friend. They only showed part of that argument and I looked a b****.
‘But the truth is she only messages me during the show and even then it is only so she can use it as a storyline.’
Speaking of her on/off relationship with Pete Wicks, Megan continued to explain that Chloe had ‘never been there’ for her.
She continued: ‘When I found out about Pete cheating in Marbella she could have come see to make sure I was alright. That’s what real friends do. But instead she sent me a message just so she didn’t look bad.
‘That’s not a friendship from me. I don’t want none of it. I’m better off without her.’
Is there any hope of a reconciliation for the former ‘girl band’ members?
Not according to Megan. She stated: ‘Our friendship is definitely finished.
‘It’s just that she’s playing the victim. I can’t be bothered with her any more. I don’t need to let her back into my life. I don’t believe she genuinely wants to repair our friendship.’
We guess that sometimes it’s time to admit that some people just grow apart…
