Kylie Jenner wasn't the only one. It seems as though most of the high profile guests hung out in the, er, toilets...

It seems as though this year’s Met Gala was all about breaking the rules.
Not only did the majority of the guests, arguably, ignore the dress code (which was very avant garde for 2017, inspired by Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons. Sounds easy-peasy, no?) but there was an awful lot of social media action from inside the star-studded event – and selfies are famously banned.

Kylie Jenner could have landed herself in a bit of hot water, considering she shared a behind-the-scenes bathroom selfie (against host Anna Wintour’s wishes) with a heap of her celebrity fans.
Unsurprisingly, the snap soon went viral.
The no-social media policy was originally implemented in 2015, but it seems as though quite a few of the famous faces in attendance ignored it this year.
What rebels.
In fact, most of the action seemed to take place in the Met Gala bathroom. LOL.
A number of the A-Listers decided to congregate for something of a party in the toilets, with many of them deciding to do the very high school thing of, er, smoking in the loo.

Bella Hadid and Dakota Johnson were amongst those that were pictured with a cigarette in their hands, despite the New York smoking ban. Naughty, naughty.
Also hiding out in the toilets were Paris Jackson (who’s becoming something of a red carpet favourite), Frances Bean Cobain, Ruby Rose and Lara Stone.
Amongst the social media video clips featuring – possibly – the world’s most exclusive toilet break EVER, guests Emily Ratajkowski and Hailey Baldwin could also be spotted.
BRB. We’re off to organise our next party in the loos (because, clearly, that’s what all the cool kids are doing these days)…
