Pinterest is a great point of call when it comes to beauty inspo, so it’s only normal that brides flock to the side to create mood boards ahead of their nuptials.
But when you think of bridal make-up, you think of naturally glowing skin and a classic red or nude lip that requires as little maintenance as possible throughout your special day. So when we found out the most pinned lip colour for brides-to-be on Pinterest, we were shocked to find out that the colour of choice was in fact berry.
#graceloveslace #theuniquebrideAccording to Pinterest’s 2017 wedding report, brides are swapping the traditional shades for a more daring berry lip and pins were up by a staggering 71% from last year.
Like everything else though, there isn’t a one suits all so it’s something you’ll have to experiment to find the right shade that compliments your skin. If you aren’t used to wearing bold colours, start off by trying berry lip stains to add a pinch of colour. Stains also tend to last longer than a lipstick too. Bonus.
If you have really fair skin, try a deeper, sheerer shade so it doesn’t wash you out, or you can go big or go home with a statement vampy lip.
