If you’re a seasoned TOWIE viewer, you’ll know that the drama in Essex goes at a different pace than, well, the rest of the country.

Yup, it’s fair to say that the ITVBe crew probably have the same amount in one day than the rest of us might have in an entire year. 

Those of us who tuned in for the latest episode of the reality show will already know that it’s Courtney Green’s turn to be at the centre of some dramz.

It seems as though the newbie might have found herself in a bit of hot water with new boyfriend Myles Barnett.

The fall-out followed the news that Courtney, who only recently made it official with Myles, had been in contact with her ex boyfriend.

During the episode, close friend Chris Clark went to visit Courtney in order to warn her about the rumours, giving her the opportunity to tell her new man herself.

Courtney explained that, whilst it looked pretty bad, she hadn’t messaged her ex with any bad intentions. In fact, she said that she had sent the message as a joke from BFF Chloe Meadows’ phone.

In fairness to Courtney, we’ve all got a teeny bit carried away on our phones after a prosecco or five – right?!

However, later in the episode, Chloe explained the situation to Myles – and he didn’t see the funny side. Again, understandable really.

After explaining the situation, Myles told Chloe: ‘I need to go and have a think because you’ve made an effort to text your ex. There’s clearly unfinished business’.

Following the on-screen drama, many viewers took to social media to share their thoughts on the situation.

One user wrote: ‘So Courtney is messaging her ex! I’m so confused I thought she really liked Myles’.

Another added, ‘Awwwww Courtney man, what you doing’.

In reference to the set of ‘rules’ Courtney had previously given Myles, another user chimed in: ‘Don’t understand why Courtney would message her ex but then give Myles these rules of what he can do and what he can’t’.

Whilst many people seem slightly upset by the situation, we’re sure Courtney and Myles will manage to patch things up. At least, we really hope so…
