When it comes to feel-good clothing, yellow is definitely a wardrobe winner. And as soon as we caught sight of the SS’17 runway shows we started to feel optimistic for the season ahead. From Erdem’s lemony lace frock to the sunny striped shirt-dress by Marques Almeida it seemed as if designers were telling us all to inject a little more sunshine into our style.
And if that wasn’t enough the shade has been a huge hit on the red carpet this year too; at the 2017 golden globe awards in early January the likes of Reese Witherspoon, Natalie Portman and Masie Williams all stole the show in cool canary coloured gowns.
And whilst our bank balances may not quite stretch to Natalie’s show-stopping Prada red carpet look we can however afford these equally as cheery buttercup coloured buys from the high-street. Hurrah!
