The verdict
Money matters when it comes to your foundation. Am I suggesting you all go drop £100 on your base? No. But the finish and feel of Sisley’s A Le Teint Anti Ageing Foundation really came up trumps.
Maybelline’s Fit Me Concealer was as good as if not better than a lot of more premium concealers I’ve used. I found the brush on Chantecaille’s Stylo great for blending but Fit Me’s formula had amazing coverage and didn’t crease around my eyes.
Soleil Tan has a cult following for a reason, that’s not to say the Suntint Bronzing Powder wasn’t good, but Chanel’s soft, mouse like formula is unbeatable.
Your mascara doesn’t have to cost more. Max Factor’s 200 Calorie Mascara held its own up against its pricy counterpart, so save your pennies for your base.
Would I spend £70 on a lipstick? Nope. However Louboutin’s Beauty Matte Lip Colour did make me think about dropping the dolla. Topshop’s lippie was a very close second so save yourself the £60.
